Orne's Empanada Dough

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6oz melted unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt together in a bowl, whisk until combined.
- In a separated bowl, combine the butter, 1 egg and water.
- Make a nest with the flour on a clean work surface. Add the liquids and mix until you have a dough.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes and cover with plastic. Let it rest for 20min.
- After letting them rest, separate the dough into 12 balls. Cover in plastic and let it rest for 15min.
- Roll each ball into a circle and add the desired filling, close the empanada and set aside.
- Lightly beat the remaining egg and brush each empanada, puncture the top with a fork so the dough doesn't explode.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15 min or until golden brown
